Authored by IU Bloomington Interim Director of Strategic Communications and adopted Hoosier Nicole Wilkins along with a host of guest bloggers from around the IU Community, Btown Banter draws inspiration from the wealth of academic, artistic and cultural resources and opportunities found all over one of the nation’s most beautiful campuses and throughout the surrounding community.
If you have any questions, comments or story ideas for the blog, please contact Nicole at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Nicole is a native of Southern California and graduated from the University of California-Irvine, where she also worked in marketing and communications. During her time there, she coordinated major media events for the university for such distinguished guests as the Dalai Lama and Paul McCartney. She also has worked for such organizations as Fox Television Studios in Beverly Hills, California; Zimmer in Warsaw, Indiana; and most recently served as chief communications officer for the regional IU/Purdue campus of IPFW in Fort Wayne.
When she’s not at work, Nicole enjoys spending time with her wonderful husband (and proud IU Bloomington graduate) Chris and their three beautiful children, Gavin, Sydney, and Pierce. In addition to her travels and exploring her newly adopted Btown home, Nicole can be found cheering on her kids at their swim meets and rooting for the Hoosiers at a football or basketball game.
